We offer safe and durable high-quality products and guide our customers toward conscious choices. Sustainability is central to our assortment and product development.
Quality and safety at the core
Alligo’s products are developed to be safe, durable, and meet customer expectations. We work systematically with product development, certifications, and quality controls to ensure compliance with laws, standards, and customer requirements. We place particularly high demands on personal protective equipment, tools, and chemicals. In case of deviations that do not meet health and safety requirements, products are immediately halted and recalled if necessary.

Extending product lifecycles and promoting circularity
We design products that last, for the customer and the environment. By offering spare parts and repair services for tools and clothing, we extend product lifespans. Within our own brands, we promote sustainability already in the design phase by selecting durable materials and user-focused features. Around 700 tests are conducted annually in our test lab to ensure quality and durability.

Innovation to reduce environmental impact
To reduce resource use and climate impact, we actively work to improve our manufacturing processes. Examples of our initiatives include:
- Increased use of recycled polyester
- Dope-dyeing techniques to save water and chemicals
- Phasing out PFAS
- Minimize waste, improve water purification, and choose fibers with a lower environmental footprint.

Chemical control and certifications
Alligo sells a wide range of chemical products and places high demands on content, labelling, and safety data sheets. Our own brand garments must not contain hazardous chemicals. Our ambition is for all garments to be certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, ensuring they are free from substances that may harm health or the environment.
Our garment and protective equipment meet current legal requirements and relevant certifications. Additionally, some products are eco-labeled.

Customer dialogue and continuous improvement
We maintain close dialogue with our customers through our sales team, customer service, and regular customer surveys. Customer feedback plays a key role in our product development, helping us identify areas for improvement and develop new features. If a customer experiences issues with a product, there are clear contact channels available. In cases involving serious risks, our whistleblower service can also be used.
