Reduced environmental and climate impact
Alligo’s greatest environmental and climate impact occurs in the value chain, during the manufacturing of our products. We actively work to reduce negative environmental and climate effects – both in the production of the goods we sell and within our own operations.
Other important environmental topics include pollution, water resources, biodiversity, resource use, and circularity.
Our most important environmental issues

Climate change
Alligo has adopted climate targets aligned with the Science Based Targets initiative to reduce emissions across the entire value chain and help limit global warming.

Pollution
Product manufacturing carries a risk of emissions to air, soil, and water. Alligo works actively to reduce environmental impact both during production and throughout product use.

Water Resources
Clothing production requires significant water usage. Alligo places demands on suppliers to reduce water consumption in cultivation, dyeing, and manufacturing processes.

Biodiversity
Alligo is committed to minimizing negative impacts on ecosystems through supplier requirements and continuous follow-up.

Resource use and circular economy
Alligo promotes circular solutions by extending product lifespans and reducing the use of raw materials, energy, and chemicals.
