AmPro continues to grow by responding to customer needs

When Ingemarsson Bilservice in Falköping chose AmPro for its new workshop, it was further proof that a strong offering is about more than products. For AmPro, customers’ everyday needs are the starting point for development, from tool trolleys and workshop equipment to new initiatives aimed at the heavy-duty side of the market.

For many years, AmPro has built a strong position among customers in agriculture, contracting and transport. Many of these customers maintain and repair their own machinery and have high demands when it comes to functionality, quality and availability.

One example is Ingemarsson Bilservice in Falköping, which chose AmPro for its new workshop. The combination of tool trolleys, tools and workshop equipment created a complete solution tailored to the needs of the business.

For Alexander Sanneryd, these types of customer relationships are central to the development of the brand.

– Many of the products and solutions we have developed come directly from things we have heard from customers. We may not always ask the most questions, but we listen carefully. When we hear the same need from several customers, we know it is something we need to act on, says Alexander Sanneryd.

The tool trolley is at the heart of the offering

The tool trolley has long been one of AmPro’s strongest products. Around 3,000 tool trolleys, both with and without tools, were sold in 2025, and sales continue to increase year after year.

But for AmPro, the trolley is more than just a single product.

– The tool trolley often becomes the foundation that the customer builds on. Once you have invested in a trolley, you want to be able to add to it, replace tools that have gone missing and expand your equipment over time. That is why we are now working to make it even easier to find the right additions, says Alexander.

From cars to trucks, machinery and industry

The range is also being developed to meet the needs of the heavier side of the market.

In recent years, AmPro has expanded its range with larger sizes and tools designed for trucks, construction machinery, mining and industry. The aim is to become a natural choice for customers working with larger vehicles and machinery as well.

– We have had these types of customers for a long time, but in the past we have often sold other brands to them. We are now developing the AmPro range so that we can offer competitive alternatives in larger sizes as well, says Alexander.

The initiative is based on clear market demand and is well aligned with the customer segments where AmPro already has a strong presence.

Innovation based on real needs

Listening to customers and understanding their everyday work has also led to several product ideas that have been well received in the market.

One example is AmPro’s flare nut wrenches. The product has been available for a long time, but when the range was expanded to include larger sizes and the features were demonstrated more clearly to customers, interest increased significantly.

A short product video on social media received more than 100,000 views, and the product quickly became a bestseller.

Details such as including two sets of the most commonly used combination wrenches in the tool trolleys have also grown out of customer insights.

– The most common sizes are often the ones that are used the most, and at the same time the ones that disappear first. When we started including two of them, we received very positive feedback from customers. Today, it is a concept that many competitors have copied.

The next step for AmPro

Development will continue over the coming years. One of the new products is a tool trolley with a wider design, providing a better overview and space for an additional tool set. An earlier prototype received very positive feedback and will now be launched as a standard product.

At the same time, work continues to expand the range and make it easier for customers to add to their tool solutions over time.

With around 1,500 stocked items, including spare parts, AmPro has a strong position in the market and continues to grow step by step.

– We are in a strong position compared with our competitors. We have a broad range, competitive products and an offering that develops together with our customers. That is why AmPro continues to grow year after year, says Alexander Sanneryd.
